Q. 1: How does it feel that “Chintuji” is inspired from your real life name?
Ans. 1: Yes, I feel great that the move is inspired from my name. Now I feel I have earned some respect, love and name in the industry. Coming back to “Chintuji” is Chintu Ji is about a filmstar who wants to contest elections from his hometown but isn't quite serious about politics. At heart, he is still a brat that he has been throughout his life and his only motive is to mint money and make merry. Ironically, his entry in his village only ends up making life better for all there, even though it is by default than design.

Q. 2: You have even worked with Kseniya Ryabinkina in the film. You must have been overwhelmed.
Ans. 2: It was way back in 1970 when I played the role of younger Raj Kapoor in Mera Naam Joker. It is interesting that 40 years later, I am coming along with her. Incidentally this will be only her second Hindi film since she appeared in Mera Naam Joker. In Chintu Ji, she has a very pivotal role to play as she brings along immense metamorphosis in the life of the character that I play. It’s her words in the film which make me realise things and open my eyes wide.

Q. 3: How was it to work with Ranjit Kapoor?
Ans. 3: Everyone is aware the quality of work Ranjit Kapoor delivers in his films, and I can ensure public won’t be disappointed if they expect the same from him. I thoroughly enjoyed working with him.

Q. 4: Any specific scene or still of the film which is very close to your heart?
Ans. 4: I can’t pick one from the slot. I enjoyed each and every scene. Trust me, the entire shooting schedule was so homely and full of zeal and pleasurable.

Q. 5: Any plans of entering politics in real life?
Ans. 5: No not at all.
